Just got a new lens - Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM - which I’ve been wanting since I got my Digital Rebel XT in December.
Pictures to come as I figure it out. This is supposed to be an awesome camera for portaits as well as for macro shooting. Whee!
Finally back to the land of SLR - I got a Canon Digital Rebel XT for Chrismas! Very sweet digital SLR, replacing my old 3.2MP Casio QV3000 and Minolta Maxxum 430si film SLR cameras. Can’t wait to get a macro lens for it. Macros are something I’ve always wanted to be able to shoot.
I first saw the Flickr Zeitgeist on my friend and former boss Chad Dickerson’s blog, and just got around to adding it to my own site. This spiffy piece of code can be dropped in to any page, and generates a ever-changing 3×4 grid of the most recent images that were posted to Flickr by me or my contacts.
The Zeitgeist code can be customized to all Flickr images, only your own images, or those from you and your Flickr contacts. Check it out.
